Thanksgiving thought

i know, i know. Thanksgiving has already gone by......oh well, we should be thankful everyday so here is a thought about it.

it's pumpkin time!!

It's that time of year, AUTUMN!!!! It's one of my faves and one of the fun things we do is carve our pumpkins. this year is no different. we went on our pumpkin hunt and picked out the best pumpkins for carving and gourds for our season table.

Ike didn't like the idea of sticking his hand in the pumpkin to pull out the seeds, luckily dad was around.

Ian didn't mind pulling out the seeds, but he didn't like not having on a shirt.

I was thinking of the origin of the word pumpkin.

It's such a cute word. Kind of plump and friendly-

and sexy in a farmer's daughter sort of way.
