Paper Bead Making

Paper beading making

We are studying Ancient Africa. the Craft project we did to go along with the lesson is paper bead making.

Things you will need :
1. paper, colored, magazine, anything with a nice color or design
2. glue sticks
3. scissors
4. string/yarn
5. pencil


What you will do :
1. Cut paper into triangles with 1 inch bases and about 4-6 inches tall
2. starting with the base of the triangle, wrap around pencil. use the glue stick to stick down the point and pull off pencil.















3. repeat step 2 for multiple beads.

4. when the beads are done string them onto the yarn. make sure it is long enough to slip over your head and knot.
